The Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix offers round-trip shuttle service that runs continuously from locations in Downtown Detroit, the suburbs and Windsor, Ontario. Grand Prix public parking is NOT available on Belle Isle.

Castroneves wins by inches, Dixon clinches title
The 2008 IndyCar Series season ended in dramatic fashion Sunday as Helio Castroneves nipped Scott Dixon to the finish line by inches to win the Peak Antifreeze Indy 300 at the Chicagoland Speedway. Castroneves finished 0.0033 of a second ahead of Dixon in the second closest finish in series history.

Ryan Briscoe will start on the pole for Sunday's IndyCar Series season-ending Peak Antifreeze Indy 300 at the Chicagoland Speedway. The No.6 Team Penske driver circled the 1.5-mile oval four times in one minute, 41.4190 seconds (215.818 m.p.h.).
Wheldon rejoining Panther Racing
Former Indianapolis 500 and IndyCar Series champion Dan Wheldon will return to Panther Racing six years after he made his series debut with the team.
Franchitti in, Wheldon out at Ganassi in '09
Target Chip Ganassi Racing announced Tuesday that Dario Franchitti will replace Dan Wheldon in the team's No.10 car, starting in 2009. Franchitti, the 2007 Indianapolis 500 winner and IndyCar Series champion, will return to the open-wheel ranks after spending less than a year in NASCAR Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series competition. He plans to make several more Nationwide starts this year.
Wilson wins at Detroit, Castroneves still alive in title race
Rookie Justin Wilson picked up his first IndyCar Series victory Sunday by winning the Detroit Indy Grand Prix at The Raceway at Belle Isle. Helio Castroneves led a race-high 53 laps, but had to give up the lead to Wilson when he was penalized for blocking with less than 20 laps to go.
Dixon outruns Castroneves for pole at Belle Isle
After a disappointing performance last weekend at the Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, CA, IndyCar Series points leader Scott Dixon rebounded Saturday by winning the pole for the Detroit Indy Grand Prix at The Raceway at Belle Isle. The No.9 Target Chip Ganassi Racing driver rounded the 2.07-mile road course in one minute, 12.2861 seconds (103.090 m.p.h.).
Castroneves revives title hopes with Sonoma victory
Helio Castroneves snapped a 29-race winless streak in the IndyCar Series Sunday with a victory in the Indy Grand Prix of Sonoma County at the Infineon Raceway. The No.3 Team Penske driver started on the pole and led 51 of 80 laps. He crossed the finish line 5.2926 seconds ahead of teammate Ryan Briscoe for his first victory since April 2007 at St. Petersburg, FL.
